Job summary

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) seeks a Human Services Program Consultant II (S) to participate in formal reviews of local Children’s Services program administration across all 100 counties. The role analyzes outcome data, staffing and caseload patterns, and applies state law and policy during case reviews.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant discipline and 3 years related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and 5 years related experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead qualitative case reviews for 100 counties to ensure compliance with state law and policy.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for program improvement.
• Lead or participate in program reviews and team initiatives.
• Coaching, training, and serving on workgroups and committees.
• Screen TA GATEWAY requests and provide technical assistance.
