Job summary

Chatham County Department of Social Services seeks a CQI/QA Specialist to support child welfare services. You will train social workers, develop QA processes, and analyze data to improve outcomes across case planning, court reports, and documentation.

The role requires advanced knowledge of social work practices and the ability to lead trainings, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate with leadership and regional teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or counseling field or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field plus experience in social work or counseling.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and orientation to social workers on policy, procedures, and program area.
• Develop and deliver ongoing training on best practices, policy updates, and QA activities.
• Support social workers with case planning, court reports, and documentation.
• Facilitate Child and Family Team meetings and complete required documentation.
• Run reports and track data for CQI and QA activities; participate in statewide workgroups as needed.
• Assist in monitoring, audits, and program reviews; provide feedback for social work practice improvements.
