Qualifications

• Six months of experience as a Caseworker Trainee or a CWEB intern within 60 days of graduation or after graduation.
• Bachelor of Social Work or a relatedBachelor's degree with relevant coursework and 1 year of professional casework.
• Must obtain Child Abuse, Criminal History and FBI clearances.

Responsibilities

• Professional assessment of child risk, safety and family strengths and problems.
• Emergency response, crisis intervention and in-home protective services.
• Manage caseload and records in the automated case management system.
• Plan permanency options and petition the Court to establish permanency within 15 months.
• Coordinate with providers, police, physicians, and other professionals.
• Provide mandated family oriented social services in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Complete visits and documentation of casework duties and transport clients as needed.
