Qualifications

• Two years as a County Social Services Aide 3 and 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, or related social sciences.
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training with 12 sociology credits and one year of paraprofessional case management.
• Within two months of graduating with qualifying degree/credits.

Responsibilities

• Initial Actions: Implement initial action plans based on new intake calls and follow up on case developments
• Case Reviews: Conduct visits and review existing cases to evaluate family needs and progress
• CPS Investigations: Carry out child protective services investigations to ensure child safety while encouraging healthy family environments
• Service Access: Coordinate with service providers so families receive the support and resources they need
• Family Support: Monitor family progress and work toward stabilizing and strengthening the family unit
