Job summary

State of Georgia, Department of Human Services, Division of Family & Children Services, is seeking a Child Welfare Services Case Supervisor in Clayton County. The role supervises staff delivering investigative and comprehensive case management for child abuse or neglect, ensuring timely actions for at-risk clients.

The position is located in Clayton County, GA, with duties including home-visit evaluations, coordinating out-of-home and in-home placements, and collaborating with the legal system

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and three years of job-related case management experience; OR one year at a lower level (SSP072) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and plan work of assigned staff.
• Coordinate and monitor services including tracking of client activities.
• Develop case plans leveraging community resources to meet client needs.
• Initiate legal processes for guardianship, protective services, placement, and/or adoption.
• Maintain documentation and prepare reports in accordance with laws and agency policies.
