State of Georgia, Department of Human Services, seeks a Child Welfare Services Case Manager Supervisor for Tifton. The role supervises a social services unit handling investigations and comprehensive case management for child abuse or neglect, coordinating services and ensuring timely actions for at-risk clients.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of case management experience or 1 year in an equivalent lower-level role. Telework may be possible depending on position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of job-related case management experience.
• One (1) year of experience at the lower-level Child Welfare Services Case Manager 3 (SSP072) or position equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and plans work of assigned staff.
• Coordinates and monitors services, including comprehensive tracking of client's activities.
• Initiates the legal process for guardianship, protective services, placement and/or adoption.
• Maintains required documentation and completes reports.
