The State of Georgia, through the Department of Human Services, is seeking a Child Welfare Services Case Manager 1 in Augusta, GA. This role reports to the Child Welfare Services Supervisor and supports safety, permanency, and well-being for Georgia’s vulnerable children and families.

Responsibilities include initiating timely investigations, developing safety plans, and collaborating with families to achieve permanency goals.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience in child welfare or social services preferred.
• Willingness to participate in after-hours on-call duty.

Mansioni

• Initiates timely, face-to-face responses to screened-in reports of alleged child maltreatment and conducts assessments.
• Develops and implements safety plans to address identified safety concerns.
• Conducts diligent search efforts to locate the child/family when contact is unavailable.
• Implements Solution Based Casework (SBC).
• Collaborates with children and parents to develop and use Family Functioning Agreements and Action Plans.
