Child Welfare Case Managers participate in ongoing training to maintain certification, collaborate with team members and community providers, and focus on permanency, safety, and satisfaction for children and families. Responsibilities include completing case notes, court preparation, assessments, referrals, placements, home studies, and facilitating family contacts.
Education, Experience, and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field, with at least one year of relevant experience. Must obtain Child Welfare Certification, possess a valid driver’s license, background clearance, and computer skills including Microsoft Office. Ability to evaluate risk factors for child abuse and neglect is essential.
