Job summary

The Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS) is seeking a Case Aide to assist families and individuals in various social service programs. Under supervision, duties include case management support, helping with applications, and providing clerical assistance as needed.

Responsibilities include facilitating home arrangements, child development guidance, and coordinating transportation for clients. This role requires knowledge of state policies and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of current state, federal and district laws/policies on child welfare.
• Knowledge of community resources to assist clients.
• FCRB policies regarding custody/placement.
• Developmental/behavioral issues influenced by culture/environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one instruction to clients on home arrangement and child development; refer to community resources.
• Transport/escort clients to appointments and document case notes.
• Conduct parenting skills classes and supervise visits; document progress.
• Refer clients to community organizations to increase self-sufficiency; participate in FCRB meetings and trainings.
• Prepare case dictation and meet with participants to monitor progress with plans.
• Attend unit meetings and provide clerical support as needed.
• Other duties as assigned related to the position.
