Job summary

YMCA of the Sandhills, North Branch, is seeking a part-time Childcare Supervisor to oversee children from six weeks to nine years, delivering activities aligned with YMCA values. You will maintain a safe, clean program space while building strong relationships with families and staff.

Responsibilities include leading age-appropriate activities, following policies, and participating in trainings to ensure a high-quality experience for children and parents.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18.
• Previous experience working with children.
• First Aid, CPR Pro and AED within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Safely supervise a group of children ages six weeks to nine years.
• Implement program activities that are developmentally appropriate and aligned with YMCA values.
• Adhere to program standards including safety and cleanliness.
• Maintain positive relationships with parents and staff.
• Attend staff meetings and in-service trainings.
