Job summary

Camelot Community Care seeks a Child Protection Team Case Coordinator to provide direct services to abused and neglected children and to advise Protective Investigators and law enforcement. The role emphasizes interviews, assessments, referrals, and coordinating services to ensure child safety.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s in a Human Services field and 2+ years of relevant experience, including work with abused children.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a Human Services field, Psychology, Social Work or Nursing.
• At least two years of post-bachelor experience working with children or families, one year with abused/neglected children.

Responsibilities

• Interview children, family members, and significant others to obtain medical and psychosocial information.
• Complete assessments and send reports to the Child Protective Investigator/Law Enforcement promptly.
• Coordinate client services and referrals to community agencies.
• Arrange and conduct team staffings and develop recommendations.
• Provide depositions and court testimony.
• Maintain client records.
• Conduct community training for professional staff and others.
• Participate in scheduled after-hours on call.
• Complete a minimum of eight hours of training yearly in child abuse, abandonment, and neglect.
