Job summary

Children’s Home & Aid is seeking a part-time Children’s Program Worker to provide nurturing caregiving and attentive supervision for children birth to 17 while parents attend parenting groups. The role covers 4–6 hours per week with evening availability, and involves structured activities to support social-emotional development.

Responsibilities include safety checks, supervising children during sessions, and facilitating age-appropriate activities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of experience working with children is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and available to work evenings.

Responsibilities

• Check room for safety issues and remedy before each group starts.
• Provide supervision and organized activities for children aged birth to 17 during Parents Care & Share groups.
• Provide primary care for infants to 2-year-olds as assigned within group.
