Job summary

Gulf Coast JFCS in Tampa, FL is seeking a Support Coordinator to deliver case management services to at-risk families, focusing on preventing child abuse and placement disruptions. The role includes referrals, screening coordination, funding applications, in-home support, and connecting families to community resources.

You will collaborate with Kinship Counselors and the clinical team, maintain documentation, and provide transportation-related support using your own vehicle.

Qualifications

• Minimum education as listed; relevant human services experience helpful.
• Experience working with children to support family goals.
• Professional case management experience and multitasking ability.
• Administrative skills to support office efficiency and writing reports.
• Ability to interact with diverse populations and cultures.
• Must have valid driver's license and own vehicle for home visits.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate referrals from community agencies and conduct screenings.
• Complete referrals to service providers for children and caregivers.
• Assist families with accessing financial resources and childcare solutions.
• Provide information and referrals for community resources and childcare vouchers.
• Support Kinship Counselors by relaying family needs to the professional team.
• Assist with office filing and documentation for case files.
• Support the Clinical Director in ensuring staff have access to resources.
