Gulf Coast JFCS is seeking a Family Support Specialist in Florida to work on-site with families and children. You will collaborate with a case manager, foster parents, and other professionals to provide interventions, education, and support.

The role involves transporting clients, delivering mentoring and crisis intervention, and assisting with case plan activities. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required, with at least one year of relevant experience.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of one year of experience working with children and/or families in a social welfare context.
• Child welfare experience is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with auto insurance proof is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in high-stress situations.

Responsabilidades

• Provide transportation and supervision of children and case participants, including individuals with medical and behavioral health needs.
• Provide mentoring and crisis intervention to foster parents and caregivers to ensure child safety and well-being.
• Assist in developing and implementing activities per the case plan goals.
• Submit completed documentation for services for court and staffings within required timeframes.
• Participate in on-call rotation and court proceedings when required.
