Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility and leading a classroom.
• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or related degree preferred.
• Ability to meet state/licensing requirements and implement lesson plans.

Responsibilities

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children; lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Communicate and build relationships with families to support child achievement and center success.
• Mentor and assist with training of new hires and fellow teachers; create engaging learning experiences for preschoolers.
• Step into Director or Assistant Director duties in absence, including opening/closing the center.
