Job summary

Learning Care Group is hiring a Team Lead at a child care center in Plano, TX. You’ll oversee classroom instruction, support families, and mentor new teachers while ensuring a safe, engaging environment for children.

Responsibilities include leading curriculum implementation, managing classroom routines, and stepping in for Director/Assistant Director when needed. Applicants should have childcare facility experience and education credits toward ECE/Child Development or a CDA.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility.
• Leading a classroom and implementing lesson plans.
• Able to meet state/licensing requirements for education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Promote social, physical and intellectual growth; lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Communicate with families to support child achievement and center success.
• Mentor and train new hires and fellow teachers; create engaging learning experiences.
• Be prepared to assume Director/Assistant Director duties in absence, including opening/closing the center.
