Fox Valley Park District is seeking a part-time Childcare Site Supervisor for the Vaughan Athletic Center in Aurora, IL. The role requires someone who is at least 18 years old and possesses excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day childcare operations under supervision.

FACILITY: Vaughan Athletic Center

LOCATION: Aurora, IL

HOURS: Monday – Friday: 6:30am – 12pm or 3:45 – 8pm, must be able to work holidays and weekends

RATE: $16/hour - minimum starting rate

TYPE: Part Time

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older and have excellent customer service skills.
• Must have dependable transportation to and from work and show a mature level of responsibility in childcare.
• Must be CPR and first aid certified or willing to obtain certifications.
• Prefer candidates that have prior experience working with children and/or an interest in education or recreation as a possible career goal.
• Should have an outgoing personality with good interpersonal skills.

DUTIES

• Under the direction and supervision of the Recreation Supervisor, the Childcare Site Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day running of child care.
• This is an at-will position.
