Job summary

Fox Valley Park District in Aurora, IL is seeking a Vaughan Facility Attendant to join our Vaughan Athletic Center. This part-time role involves monitoring gym/fieldhouse activities, setting up sports equipment, and checking in participants under the Athletic Manager’s supervision.

Shifts vary 5am-10pm weekdays and 6am-6pm weekends, averaging 2-3 shifts per week with up to 20 hours. Minimum rate is $15.00 per hour, with part-time benefits available to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age or older.
• Preference will be given to candidates that possess an interest in sports.
• Outgoing personality with good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction and supervision of the Athletic Manager, the Vaughan Facility Attendant is responsible for monitoring the activities that take place in the gym/fieldhouse.
• Individual will be responsible for setting up sports equipment and checking people into the fieldhouse.
• Will be responsible for handling potentially difficult or emergency situations in a calm and effective manner.
• This is an at-will position.

FACILITY: Vaughan Athletic Center

LOCATION: Aurora, IL

HOURS: Shifts vary between 5am-10pm Monday-Friday and 6am-6pm Saturday and Sunday. Field House attendants will have an average of 2-3 shifts per week, or up to 20 hours/week.

RATE: $15/hour - minimum starting rate
