Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30‑1:00 p.m. or 11:30‑4:00 p.m.

Rate: $17.00 per hour (minimum pay rate).

Type: Part‑Time/Seasonal.

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years of age.
• Previous experience working with or teaching children and planning curriculum.
• 60 semester hours of college credits, with at least 6 credit hours in Early Childhood Education.
• Friendly, creative, and motivated to engage and educate children.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with staff, children, parents, and providing customer service.
• Ability to maintain discretion regarding confidential matters.
• First Aid/CPR certification within 3 months of hire.
• Some flexibility to substitute for other teachers or locations as needed.

Duties

• Classroom management and implementation of the preschool curriculum under the direction of the Preschool Supervisor.
• Regular attendance at staff and planning meetings.
• Monitoring children’s developmental progress and communicating consistently with parents.
• Keeping accurate, confidential records within student files.
• Completing 15 hours of continuing education per calendar year.
• At‑will employment.
