Qualifikationen

• Degree from an accredited college or university in education or human services related field.
• Minimum of 2 years (2500 hours) of childcare experience.

Aufgaben

• Read and comply with YMCA policies, state licensing regulations and quality rating system standards.
• Supervise staff and maintain attendance within state licensing ratios.
• Communicate effectively and timely with parents/guardians about children's program experience and progress.
• Provide positive adult/child interactions and maintain age-appropriate communication.
• Attend required trainings and maintain compliance with training plans and regulations.
• Direct and maintain safe environments supporting children's self-esteem and behavior management.
• Record weekly child observations and address development concerns with guardians.
• Coordinate daily child-centered learning experiences within guidelines and adapt as needed.
• Maintain program operations in line with policies and inspections and prepare for audits.
• Lead by example with professionalism and accountability; supervise all site staff.
• Prepare and distribute brand-compliant written communications to families.
• Plan monthly lesson plans, weekly reports, and supply requests on time.
• Support enrollment objectives to maintain steady program participation.
