Job summary

Health & Human Services Commission (HHSC), Region 3 CCL DC Field Ops, Fort Worth, TX, seeks a CCL Supervisor II to supervise a CCR staff unit, ensuring compliance with minimum standards for child care operations, reviewing actions, and guiding investigations. The role focuses on staff training, performance evaluation, and coordination with agency partners.

The position oversees application processing, inspections, waivers, and adverse actions while maintaining data-driven QA and ensuring safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; preferably in a human services related field.
• Preferred experience in child care regulation or closely related activities.
• Preferred experience in supervision, management or leading projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise unit staff to ensure case management actions and decisions meet regulatory standards.
• Manage daily unit operations, approve regulatory activities and schedule regular unit meetings.
• Identify when enforcement actions are needed and implement corrective actions.
• Engage with community and stakeholders to inform the public about CCR program activities.
• Provide professional development and coaching to unit staff; monitor QA and performance metrics.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support CCR program goals.
