Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Erie is hiring multiple Full-time Site Directors - Child Care at several YMCA locations. This role leads high-quality childcare programs, recruiting and supervising staff, managing budgets, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent.
• Three or more years related experience preferred as a coordinator or supervisor of childcare programs.
• Minimum age requirements may apply; minimum age of 21.
• CPR, First Aid, AED, Bloodborne Pathogens and Mandated Reporter Training completed within 30 days of hire.
• Act 33 and 34 clearances and other background checks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manages and coordinates the day care and school age childcare programs for assigned location(s).
• Ensures safety with proper supervision and ratios.
• Recruits, hires, trains, and directs personnel and volunteers as needed.
• Enrols new children and onboarding with guardians and classroom staff.
• Develops, manages and controls budgets related to the position.
• Maintains program records and supports compliance with regulations.
