Job summary

Learning Care Group, Inc. is seeking a Child Care Cook, Food Specialist to prepare home-style, nutritious meals for children and staff in our childcare setting. You will adapt menus within budget while meeting USDA and licensing requirements.

You will follow the daily menu, maintain food inventory, and assist in classrooms as needed with an Assistant Teacher/Floater role. This is a hands-on position in a childcare facility where health and safety come first.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking for multiple individuals in childcare preferred.
• Willingness to learn and adhere to all state/local regulations.
• Flexibility with hours and work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Prepare home-style, nutritious meals and snacks for children and staff.
• Follow daily menu and regulatory requirements (USDA/licensing/health dept).
• Maintain inventory of food and supplies and reorder as needed.
