Job summary

Learning Care Group, Inc. is seeking a Housekeeping Aide at our Wayne, NJ childcare center.

You will help maintain a clean, safe environment for children by vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning restrooms and disposing of waste, ensuring classrooms and play areas stay fresh and inviting. You will also support upkeep of equipment, furniture and displays, assist with seasonal decorations, and comply with state education requirements.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working around children.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a team environment.
• Must meet state education requirements for the center.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows and restrooms; trash collection.
• Clean school equipment, furniture and walls; refill dispensers.
• Assist with putting up and removing seasonal decorations.

Job description

Our Housekeeping Aides are integral to the success of the childcare center by managing the organization and cleanliness that enables children to learn and grow in their environment.

As a Housekeeping Aide, you:

• Keep things fresh! Work to keep the building, classrooms, and playground in a clean, safe, orderly condition. Completes janitorial tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows, and restrooms. Gathers and empty trash.
• Keep things working! Assist in cleaning school equipment, furniture, fixtures, and walls. Clean restrooms and refill dispensers.
• Keep things festive! Assist with putting up and removing seasonal decorations and displays throughout the year.

Job Requirements:

• Comfortable working around children
• Willingness to learn and grow in a team environment
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay $18.04-18.74 hourly, Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options; based on Position, Education and Experience / any other compensation offered
• Immediate Health insurance (medical, dental and vision), paid time-off and 401K (plus company match) provided for full-time employees.
