Job summary

Learning Care Group, Inc. is seeking a Housekeeping Aide at our Waldorf, MD childcare center. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and inviting learning environment for children and staff.

Responsibilities include janitorial tasks, restocking supplies, and assisting with seasonal decorations. The role supports health, safety, and smooth daily operations in a child-centered setting.

Responsibilities

• Keep building, classrooms, and playground clean and safe; vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, emptying trash.
• Assist in cleaning equipment and fixtures; restrooms cleaned and dispensers refilled.
• Put up and take down seasonal decorations and displays throughout the year.

Job description

Our Housekeeping Aides are integral to the success of the childcare center by managing the organization and cleanliness that enables children to learn and grow in their environment.

As a Housekeeping Aide, you:

• Keep things fresh! Work to keep the building, classrooms, and playground in a clean, safe, orderly condition. Completes janitorial tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows, and restrooms. Gathers and empty trash.
• Keep things working! Assist in cleaning school equipment, furniture, fixtures, and walls. Clean restrooms and refill dispensers.
• Keep things festive! Assist with putting up and removing seasonal decorations and displays throughout the year.

• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay $18.13-18.83 hourly, Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options; based on Position, Education and Experience / any other compensation offered
• Immediate Health insurance (medical, dental and vision), paid time-off and 401K (plus company match) provided for full-time employees.
