Responsibilities of the Early Childhood Center Director
- Recruit, hire, and train high-quality teachers and staff motivated to provide a top-notch learning environment.
- Ensure the use of our global education curriculum, branding, and age-appropriate learning materials.
- Adhere to teaching standards and safety regulations established by the state and corporate office.
- Create marketing plans to promote our program through community events, tours, and enrollment efforts.
- Communicate with parents, staff, and leadership to discuss student goals and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain constant communication with parents regarding their children’s progress and center activities.
- Handle administrative duties including accounting, budgeting, and other tasks as assigned.
- Maximize enrollment while maintaining required staff-to-child ratios.
- Generate reports for licensing, operations, and marketing purposes.
- Train and operate various software systems; ensure compliance with licensing, training, and safety standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field preferred, or other relevant credentials.
- Three to five years of proven management experience in a licensed childcare facility.
- Must pass all background checks and meet state requirements.
- CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or G Suite.
- Experience with financial and administrative systems.
- Excellent knowledge of early childhood development.
- Patience, flexibility, and a love for children.
