Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking an Assistant Director at our Wisconsin childcare center to ensure safe, high‑quality operation alongside the School Director. In the Director’s absence, you assume sole responsibility and help promote social, physical, and intellectual growth for children.

You’ll lead a caring team, recruit and retain staff, and uphold licensing standards while benefiting from a strong benefits package, flexible schedules, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the school is operating in accordance with company and state licensing standards.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.
• Assist in the promotion of the school in the absence of the School Director.

The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group’s safety vision. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. The Assistant Director assists in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.
