Job summary

Learning Care Group seeks an Assistant Director to lead the school in partnership with the School Director, ensuring safety and high-quality care for children. In the Director's absence, you assume full responsibility for the school’s operations and outcomes.

The role emphasizes running a loving, educational environment, staffing excellence, and adherence to licensing standards while supporting family engagement and community trust.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, effective operation of the school in collaboration with the School Director.
• In the Director's absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.
• Promote social, physical, and intellectual growth of children.
• Foster an educational, caring, safe environment for children and parents.
• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.
• Help achieve profitability for the company.

The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group's safety vision. In the Director's absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. The Assistant Director assists in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children
