Job summary

La Petite Academy in Midwest City, OK is seeking an Assistant Director to help lead the school and support families. You will work with the School Director to ensure safe, effective operations and promote the growth of children.

This role emphasizes accountability, staff recruitment, and team collaboration, with opportunities for ongoing training, credential assistance, Master Teacher Program participation, and a positive, supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director.
• Assist in promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
• In the Director’s absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.

The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group’s safety vision. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. The Assistant Director assists in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.

Job Requirements:
