Job summary

Learning Care Group is hiring an Assistant Director to oversee the safe, effective operation of a school alongside the School Director, ensuring compliance with licensing standards and safety vision.

You will lead early childhood programs, promote children’s growth, and recruit and retain quality staff while fostering a positive and supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience required in a licensed childcare facility.
• Must be at least 21 years old and meet state education requirements.
• Strong ability to recruit, train, and retain staff and foster a safe learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee school operations with the School Director to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Promote social, physical, and intellectual growth of children within the program.
• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff and maintain a positive workplace culture.

The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group’s safety vision.In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. The Assistant Director assists in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.
