Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking an Assistant Director to help run a safe, high-quality early childhood program in Wisconsin. You will partner with the School Director to support staff, families, and children, ensuring compliance with licensing and company standards.

This role emphasizes leadership, program quality, and positive outcomes for children, with opportunities for professional growth through ongoing training and the Master Teacher Program.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Wisconsin Registry Level 7 required; candidates who are currently Level 6 and actively nearing completion of Level 7 may be considered.
• Must meet all applicable Wisconsin licensing and center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group’s safety vision.
• In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school.
• The Assistant Director assists in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
