Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking an Assistant Director to help run a safe, high-quality childcare center in Wisconsin. You will work with the School Director to support daily operations and ensure a nurturing environment for children and families.

The role emphasizes leadership, staff development, licensing compliance, and partnership with families. Must be 21+, have leadership experience and at least 1 year in licensed childcare; a High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director.
• Promote social, physical and intellectual growth of the children.
• Help recruit, select and retain qualified staff and ensure licensing standards.
• Support a positive, caring environment for families and the community.

The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group’s safety vision. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. The Assistant Director assists in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children

Job Requirements:
