Job summary

La Petite Academy in Florida is seeking an Assistant Director to help run a safe, nurturing school under the guidance of the School Director. You will promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children while ensuring licensing standards and company policies are followed.

The role offers flexible schedules with no nights or weekends, a supportive team, and opportunities for professional growth through training and credential assistance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group’s safety vision. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. The Assistant Director assists in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children
