Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking an Assistant Director for a school in Melissa, Texas. The role collaborates with the School Director to ensure safe, effective operation and promotes the growth of children within a supportive environment.

The Assistant Director will uphold licensing standards, foster a positive, educational atmosphere for families, and lead staff recruitment and retention efforts while supporting the overall profitability of the school.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have leadership experience and at least 1 year in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the school operates safely and in compliance with company and state licensing standards.
• Foster an educational, caring, safe environment for children and parents.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.

The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group’s safety vision. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. The Assistant Director assists in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
