Job summary

La Petite Academy is seeking an Assistant Director in Wisconsin to help operate a caring, high-quality childcare center. You will work with the School Director to ensure safety, compliance, and daily program delivery while supporting families and staff across the school.

The role emphasizes leadership, staff development, and maintaining a nurturing environment that fosters children’s social, physical, and cognitive growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the school operates safely and effectively with the School Director.
• Assist in promoting social, physical, and intellectual growth of children.
• In the Director's absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.
• Recruit, develop, and retain quality staff to support classroom programs.

The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group's safety vision. In the Director's absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. The Assistant Director assists in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children
