Job summary

Learning Care is hiring an Assistant Director to oversee safe, effective school operations alongside the School Director and to step in when the Director is absent. The role supports social, physical, and intellectual growth of children, while ensuring a positive, compliant environment for families.

Ideal candidates bring leadership experience in licensed childcare, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to recruit and retain quality staff to sustain program excellence.

Qualifications

• Must have leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the school is operating safely and effectively with the School Director.
• In the Director’s absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.

The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group’s safety vision. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
