Job summary

Dream Big Children's Center in Hesperia, CA is seeking a compassionate caregiver to work directly with children, usually one-on-one, to support behavior goals and follow a personalized plan. You’ll use play, creativity and patience to teach new skills, track progress, and share updates with families while collaborating closely with your team and supervisor.

The role requires a minimum high school diploma or GED, with a preferred or in-progress psychology degree, and availability Monday–Friday

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field preferred or in progress.
• Experience working with children, especially with autism, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Working directly with children (usually one-on-one) to support behavior goals.
• Following a personalized plan created for each child.
• Using play, creativity, and patience to teach new skills.
• Supporting families and sharing progress.
• Taking notes and tracking the child’s progress.
• Working closely with the team and supervisor to ensure optimal support.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Bachelor’s degree in psychology (in progress or completed)
