Job summary

Dream Big Children's Center in Rancho Cucamonga, CA is seeking a Behavior Therapist to work with children to help them learn new skills, build confidence, and reach goals. You'll be part of a supportive team that makes each day fun, rewarding, and full of growth for both the kids and our team members.

The role requires patience, strong communication, and a love for working with kids. Training is provided; schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with paid training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in progress or completed in psychology or related field from an accredited institution preferred, or enrollment in degree program leading to a degree in psychology or a related field
• Experience working with children with autism in an educational or therapy setting for at least 6 months
• Complete TB test and livescan clearance
• Must be comfortable with diaper changes.
• Must be available M-F 8-5PM

Responsibilities

• Working directly with children (usually one-on-one) to support behavior goals
• Following a personalized plan created for each child
• Using play, creativity, and patience to teach new skills
• Supporting families and sharing progress
• Taking notes and tracking the child's progress
• Working closely with your team and supervisor to make sure the child is getting the best support possible
