Job summary

SilkRoad is seeking a Behavior Specialist to implement developmentally appropriate behavioral strategies to strengthen children’s social-emotional skills and learning readiness.

You will collaborate with families and staff, develop and monitor individual behavior plans, coordinate with the Early Childhood Services Manager and paraprofessionals, and collect data to evaluate program effectiveness. Applicants should show compassion for diverse backgrounds and participate in trainings as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral strategies to strengthen children's social-emotional skills and improve their ability to learn.
• Support families and staff using developmentally appropriate practices.
• Develop and implement individual behavior plans with families and staff.
• Coordinate with the Early Childhood Services Manager and paraprofessionals as necessary.
• Monitor, collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of social emotional/behavioral health practices.
• Attend meetings and trainings as assigned.
