Job summary

TVCCA - Thames Valley Council for Community Action, Inc. is seeking a Behavior Specialist to support children's social-emotional learning through developmentally appropriate behavioral strategies. You will work with families and staff to implement individualized plans and coordinate referrals as needed.

You will monitor data, participate in trainings, and collaborate with the Early Childhood Services Manager to ensure high-quality supports for children from diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with 2 years of experience.
• Experience observing, assessing, planning and implementing activities for young children.
• Must be computer literate and have strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral strategies to strengthen children's social-emotional skills and learning.
• Offer coaching to families and staff using developmentally appropriate practices.
• Develop and implement individual behavior plans in collaboration with families and staff.
• Coordinate with the Early Childhood Services Manager and paraprofessionals.
• Collect and analyze data to evaluate behavioral health practices.
• Attend meetings and trainings as assigned.
