Job summary

Blackbird Health in Sterling, VA is seeking a licensed Child and Adolescent Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team delivering evidence-based therapy to youth and families in a hybrid setting.

You'll work full-time with a stable schedule, full benefits, and strong clinical support, enabling impactful care for children and families while growing your clinical career at Blackbird Health.

Qualifications

• Independently licensed as a LPC, LMFT or LCSW in Virginia.
• Possess one year of experience providing individual, direct care therapy to children and adolescent patients.
• Have one year of experience working in a telehealth or virtual setting.
• Flexibility to work during Blackbird's core after-school hours: after 3pm ET during the week and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults (ages 2-26), building strong therapeutic relationships through consistent, high-quality care.
• Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans based on ongoing assessment of patient progress.
• Participate in consultation to enhance clinical skills and receive feedback and support.
• Collaborate with other specialty providers.
• Maintain thorough, timely clinical documentation and patient records.
• Involve and advise family members or outside specialists when appropriate.
