New Directions Mental Health, a member of Transformations Care Network, seeks a Child & Adolescent Therapist to empower young clients and families in our Pittsburgh clinics. You will work with a clinical team to provide outpatient therapy, crisis planning, and coordinated care while pursuing licensure and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or related field.
• Experience working with children and families.
• Provisional license per state regulation if required.
• Educational background leading to professional licensing.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development in mental health including supervision and CE.
• Willingness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and rapport-building skills.
• Ability to manage time and complete documentation efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide outpatient individual and family therapy tailored to client needs.
• Develop crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans.
• Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning.
• Ensure timely billing, documentation, treatment plans, and insurance authorizations.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and staff to deliver holistic care.
