Job summary

Resources for Human Development is seeking a Child and Adolescent Therapist in Bryn Mawr, PA. The role provides individual, group, and family therapy to children and adolescents, addressing mental health and co-occurring concerns with evidence-based practices.

You will develop treatment plans, maintain caseloads, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care across programs. Required licensure-adjacent credentials and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related human services field
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
• Act 33/34 Clearances and FBI Clearance (as applicable)
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment

Responsibilities

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and intake evaluations, including treatment recommendations
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based practices for individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders
• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans
• Maintain an active caseload, engage clients in ongoing treatment, and monitor progress, adjusting interventions as needed
• Participate in clinical team meetings to review treatment goals, progress, and discharge planning
• Maintain tracking systems for treatment plans, documentation, and program compliance
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) that meets agency, regulatory, and funder requirements
• Collaborate with other team members to support families across settings, aka speaking with school counselors/teachers, etc
