Job summary

Resources for Human Development seeks a Child and Adolescent Therapist in Bryn Mawr, PA to deliver individual, group, and family therapy to children and teens within an interdisciplinary team.

You will conduct biopsychosocial assessments, develop treatment plans, monitor progress, and document care in the EMR, while collaborating with schools and other professionals. This is a full-time, in-office role with ongoing training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
• Act 33/34 Clearances and FBI Clearance.
• Completion of licensure trainings.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and intake evaluations with treatment recommendations.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based practices for mental health and/or substance use disorders.
• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain an active caseload, engage clients in ongoing treatment, and monitor progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
• Participate in clinical team meetings to review treatment goals, progress, and discharge planning.
• Maintain tracking systems for treatment plans, documentation, and program compliance.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in the EMR that meets agency, regulatory, and funder requirements.
• Collaborate with other team members to support families across settings, including school counselors.
