Rush University Medical Center in Chicago is seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Section of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. The position will be based primarily at Rush Behavioral Medicine’s West Campus.

The role emphasizes clinical evaluation and psychopharmacology, supervision of trainees, and serving as core faculty for the fellowship. An academic appointment will be offered commensurate with experience.

Formación

• Physician who has completed a Child Psychiatry fellowship.
• Experience with younger child populations and/or clinical research experience with such ages.
• Experience and/or interest in working with children and adolescents with substance use disorders (SUD).

Responsabilidades

• Conduct specialized diagnostic evaluations and psychopharmacological treatment.
• Supervise trainees in clinical settings.
• Serve as core faculty for the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship training program.
• Participation in research projects.
• Involvement in local and national organized medicine.
• Community education and academic presentations of clinical and research work.
• Opportunities to develop administrative and research leadership skills.
• Opportunity to develop systems of care for SUD within Rush and in collaboration with other institutions.
• Encouraged to work within supportive, dynamic multidisciplinary teams.
