Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Eligible to be licensed to practice medicine in Illinois.
• Completion of an accredited Pediatric Infectious Diseases fellowship program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Infectious Diseases.
• Willing and able to travel between clinical locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for routine and complex infectious diseases conditions in inpatient and outpatient pediatric settings at 0.5 FTE (part-time).
• Support the pediatric Infection Control team and serve as a liaison to local public health entities.
• Teach and mentor medical students and residents in pediatric infectious diseases medicine via the patient care experience.
• Participate in departmental academic inquiry/didactic sessions including lectures and case conferences.
• Engage in research collaborations and academic activities; potential for faculty appointment at Rush Medical College.
