Qualifications

MD or DO required.
Eligible to be licensed to practice medicine in Illinois.
Completion of an accredited Pediatric Infectious Diseases fellowship program.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Infectious Diseases.
Willing and able to travel between clinical locations.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care for routine and complex infectious diseases conditions in inpatient and outpatient pediatric settings at 0.5 FTE (part-time).
Support the pediatric Infection Control team and serve as a liaison to local public health entities.
Teach and mentor medical students and residents in pediatric infectious diseases medicine via the patient care experience.
Participate in departmental academic inquiry/didactic sessions including lectures and case conferences.
Engage in research collaborations and academic activities; potential for faculty appointment at Rush Medical College.
