Job summary

Rush University Medical Center in Chicago seeks a Neuropsychiatrist to join the Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Program. The position focuses on clinical care within behavioral, cognitive, and movement disorders, with opportunities for research collaborations and educational initiatives.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, supervise psychiatry residents and fellows, and contribute to advancing patient care and scholarly activities within Rush Medical College.

Qualifications

• Education: MD/DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in Illinois.
• Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
• Experience/Expertise: Clinical medicine, patient care, resident education, research; subspecialty in neurology/neuropsychiatry/movement disorders ideal.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality psychiatric care tailored to behavioral, cognitive, and movement disorders.
• Maintain active role in all-discipline team consultation meetings for the Huntington’s Disease Clinic (if applicable).
• Supervise and train psychiatry residents, fellows, and medical students.
• Engage in clinical research collaborations and contribute to academic advancement.
