Job summary

Havenwyck Hospital in Auburn Hills, MI, a UHS facility, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide psychiatric care for children, adolescents and adults. You will apply the nursing process, assess mental health needs, and support crisis intervention when needed.

You will develop measurable goals on the Individualized Treatment Plan, monitor medications, and contribute to the Master Treatment Plan with the treatment team to ensure safe, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Current RN license in Michigan required.
• One year of psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
• Non-violent Crisis Intervention and BLS/CPR certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care for psychiatric patients using the nursing process.
• Assesses mental health needs and develops diagnoses, outcomes and plans.
• Monitors medications and treatments and ensures patient safety.
• Supports milieu management and crisis intervention strategies.
