Job summary

Hartford HealthCare’s Natchaug Hospital seeks a Mental Health Worker to support children and adolescents in our Joshua Center Program. You will collaborate with clinicians to create a safe, therapeutic environment, facilitate activities, and help clients progress toward treatment goals.

Responsibilities include leading group sessions, documenting notes, and providing transportation between school, program, and home. Flexibility to cover multiple Natchaug locations is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to obtain Public Service License A Endorsement within 90 days of hire.
• Basic computer skills are required for daily documentation and scheduling.
• Must maintain a reliable telephone number for scheduling and communication purposes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing support and interventions for children and adolescents in the treatment program.
• Facilitate activities and run group meetings with 10–12 clients.
• Support clients' treatment goals and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.
• Document daily case notes and provide transportation to and from the Joshua Center Program.
