Job summary

Hartford HealthCare's Natchaug Hospital in Connecticut invites applications for a per diem Mental Health Worker. The role provides therapeutic interventions and requires transportation support from school to the Joshua Center program and then to students' homes using a company vehicle.

The position is per diem and may report to various Natchaug site locations based on program needs; additional compensation is provided beyond base duties.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with behavioral health clients preferred.
• 2 years related experience required.
• Current CT Driver's license with a clean driving record for a minimum 3 consecutive years.
• Ability to obtain a Public Service License 'A' Endorsement within 90 days of hire, which requires passing pre-hire drug screen and DOT physical exam.
• Must have and maintain a telephone number for scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic interventions for clients as part of the interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Provide transportation from school to the Joshua Center program and then to students' homes using company vehicle.
